As the new school year begins, it's time for teachers and parents to come together to share and align on the direction and plans for the upcoming academic journey.

In the cool early autumn weather, this morning (August 24th), the parent orientation meeting for the six classes of the Vietnamese-American dual diploma program was successfully held.

The meeting marked the official introduction of the teachers responsible for the Vietnamese-American dual diploma program for the 2024-2025 school year to the parents. It was an opportunity to share in-depth information about the curriculum, direction, and plans for the entire academic year. It also served as a bridge to connect families and the school, allowing teachers to listen to the concerns, feelings, and wishes of the parents.

Especially in the first-grade classes, parents had the chance to hear profound insights from Ms. Hong Lien, the Vice Principal and Head of the English Department, regarding their child's upcoming learning journey at the new school.

The process of nurturing a child with the qualities, ethics, and skills of a global citizen requires the combined effort of both the family and the school. In the Vietnamese-American dual diploma program, there will be many opportunities throughout the school year for teachers and parents to collaborate.

The teachers hope to receive the understanding and contributions of the parents in the upcoming journey, so the program can continuously improve, creating the best learning environment for the children.

Wishing for a successful new school year—a year of mindfulness. “Mindfulness”—focusing on doing well even the smallest things will be the guiding principle for the entire school year and the key to living a happier life.

BUỔI HỌP ĐỊNH HƯỚNG PHỤ HUYNH ĐẦU NĂM “NGHE KỸ-PHÂN TÍCH SÂU-HIỂU THẤU”

Đến hẹn lại lên, đầu năm là thời gian để thầy cô và phụ huynh cùng ngồi lại chia sẻ về những định hướng, kế hoạch đồng hành cùng nhau cho chặng đường một năm học sắp tới.

Trong tiết trời mát mẻ đầu thu, sáng nay (24/8) buổi họp định hướng phụ huynh đầu năm của 6 lớp Hệ song bằng Việt Mỹ sáng nay đã diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp.

Buổi họp là sự ra mắt chính thức của Thầy cô phụ trách giảng dạy tại Hệ song bằng Việt Mỹ năm học 2024-2025 với phụ huynh, là dịp để chia sẻ sâu về chương trình học, định hướng, kế hoạch cho cả năm học, vừa là cầu nối gắn kết gia đình và nhà trường để thầy cô lắng nghe những tâm tư, tình cảm, nguyện vọng của phụ huynh.

Đặc biệt, ở khối lớp 1, bố mẹ đã được lắng nghe những chia sẻ chuyên sâu từ cô Hồng Liên – Phó Hiệu trưởng kiêm Trưởng Bộ phận tiếng Anh của nhà trường cho hành trình học tập sắp tới của con tại ngôi trường mới.

Trong tiến trình nuôi dưỡng một đứa trẻ hội tụ đủ phẩm chất, đạo đức, kỹ năng của một công dân toàn cầu rất cần sự chung tay của cả gia đình và nhà trường. Đối với Hệ song bằng Việt Mỹ, sẽ còn rất nhiều dịp trong năm học để thầy cô và phụ huynh cùng đồng hành, thầy cô hy vọng sẽ nhận được nhiều sự thấu hiểu và đóng góp của quý phụ huynh trên hành trình sắp tới để chương trình ngày càng cải tiến, tạo nên môi trường học tập tốt nhất cho các con.

Chúc cho năm học mới – Năm học của sự Tỉnh thức sẽ thật thành công. “Tỉnh thức” – chú tâm làm tốt từ những điều nhỏ nhất sẽ là “kim chỉ nam” cho cả năm học và là chìa khoá để mỗi chúng ta sống hạnh phúc hơn.
