Parents, are you ready to step into a unique classroom where all cultural boundaries fade away? Today, students from the Vietnamese-American Dual Diploma Program took part in an exciting online Global Classroom session.

Exploring Vietnamese and Indian Culture Through the Theme of Tet:

A special lesson featuring two schools:

– Xanh Tue Duc School, Hanoi, Vietnam

– Techno India Group Public School, Chinsurah, India

In a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, the students had the chance to learn about and compare two significant celebrations: Vietnam’s Lunar New Year and India’s New Year’s Day.

Energetic Warm-Up:

The session kicked off with a vibrant introduction and a lively spring-themed dance, setting the mood and connecting students from both schools.

Festival Exploration with the Game “Picture Puzzle Challenge”:

Two teams competed to guess the names of famous festivals from both countries. This engaging activity not only fueled excitement but also helped students discover similarities and fascinating differences between the two cultures.

Diving Deeper into the Theme of Tet Holiday:

Through videos, images, and interactive games, students explored:

What is Tet?

What do we eat, do, and how do we decorate for Tet?

These activities deepened their understanding of Tet and its cultural significance.

Cultural Presentations:

Students from the Vietnamese-American Dual Diploma Program delivered presentations on iconic Tet symbols such as bánh chưng (sticky rice cake), the mâm ngũ quả (fruit tray), and New Year’s Eve traditions.

Meanwhile, Indian students showcased their distinctive New Year celebrations through impressive cultural features from their regions.

This provided a platform for students to enhance their presentation skills, confidently communicate in English, and express their creativity.

Ending on a Positive Note: The lesson concluded with students writing messages of peace and well-wishes for the world.

The Global Classroom, organized twice a year as part of the Vietnamese-American Dual Diploma Program, is not just a lesson—it’s a journey to develop communication skills, global thinking, and respect for diversity. It lays the foundation for students to confidently become global citizens in the future.

Bố mẹ đã sẵn sàng bước vào một lớp học đặc biệt, nơi mà mọi ranh giới văn hóa đều được xóa nhòa? Hôm nay các học sinh Hệ Song Bằng Việt Mỹ đã tham gia vào một tiết học Global Classroom trực tuyến vô cùng thú vị.

Khám phá văn hóa Việt – Ấn qua chủ đề Tết:

Tiết học đặc biệt với sự tham gia của hai trường:

– Trường Xanh Tuệ Đức Hà Nội, Việt Nam

– Trường Techno India Group Public School, Chinsurah, Ấn Độ

Trong không khí háo hức, các học sinh đã có cơ hội tìm hiểu và so sánh hai ngày lễ đặc biệt: Tết Nguyên Đán Việt Nam và Tết Dương Lịch tại Ấn Độ.

Warm up sôi động với phần chào hỏi và điệu nhảy rộn ràng trên nền nhạc xuân, khuấy động không khí và kết nối học sinh giữa hai trường.

Khám phá lễ hội qua thử thách “Đuổi hình bắt chữ”: Hai đội thi tài đoán tên các lễ hội nổi tiếng của hai quốc gia. Không chỉ là cuộc thi hấp dẫn, đây còn là dịp để các em nhận ra những điểm chung và khác biệt thú vị giữa hai nền văn hóa.

Tết là gì?

Chúng ta ăn gì, làm gì, trang trí ra sao?

Hoạt động trò chơi tương tác đã giúp các em khắc sâu kiến thức về Tết và ý nghĩa của ngày lễ quan trọng này.

Các bạn nhỏ Hệ song bằng lần lượt thuyết trình về biểu tượng đặc trưng: từ bánh chưng, mâm ngũ quả đến những hoạt động đón giao thừa.

Trong khi bạn học sinh Ấn Độ thể hiện bản sắc đón năm mới thông qua đặc trưng văn hóa vùng miền rất ấn tượng.

Đây là cơ hội để các em học kỹ năng thuyết trình, tự tin giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh và thể hiện sự sáng tạo.

Kết thúc buổi học vui nhộn hôm nay, các em đã viết những lời chúc bình an tốt lành đến với thế giới.

Global classroom được tổ chức 2 lần/năm trong chương trình học của Hệ song bằng Việt Mỹ không chỉ là một buổi học, mà còn là hành trình rèn luyện kỹ năng giao tiếp, tư duy toàn cầu, và tôn trọng sự khác biệt. Đây chính là nền tảng để các học sinh tự tin trở thành công dân toàn cầu trong tương lai.
